Basement is a weird name for a tech blog isn’t it? Well let me tell you the meaning behind the name.
Every time you start doing something new, you start from scratch. You might say, from a basement. You try to climb above towards the attic, but once you start getting closer you realize that it is not enough. You are not done. There is still work to do and nothing really changed just because you achieved something. You need new goals. So in a way you move from a basement to another. That is where the name comes from. Tech industry is like that, constantly moving in some direction and as a developer I need to keep learning as well.
